Perfect for beginners, hobby photographers and curious travelers, the tour gives you a new perspective on the city through your camera or smartphone. The walk starts at 11:00 AM at the Tourist Information at the Fish Market and lasts for approximately 2 hours. All cameras are welcome, whether you use a mobile, compact or DSLR. While discovering iconic locations such as Bryggen and scenic viewpoints over the city and fjord, you will learn hands-on tips about light, angles and composition. Along the way, your guide will also share fascinating historical facts and stories about Bergen, giving you a deeper connection to the motifs you capture. The walk is relaxed and mostly flat, making it suitable for all levels and ages. Even if you’re not taking photos yourself, you are welcome to join the experience and enjoy the storytelling. The price is NOK 799 per person, or NOK 699 per person for groups of 5 or more. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as we embrace the Bergen weather and run the tour rain or shine. The tour is conducted in English and Norwegian and requires a minimum of 3 participants; in the event of a cancellation due to low numbers, a full refund will be provided. For those seeking a more personal experience, we offer private tours and customized group walks for up to 12 people with flexible routes and starting points.

      "The Bergen Photowalk is designed as an educational and cultural experience focused on photography techniques and local history.

      Age and Participation: While there is no strict age limit, the content is best suited for adults and children aged 10 and up who have an interest in learning about photography. Younger children are welcome to join, but we kindly ask parents to ensure that the learning environment remains focused for all participants.

      Equipment: Please bring your own camera or smartphone with a fully charged battery. We also recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as we explore the city's beauty in all types of weather.

      Gratuities: Tips are not included in the tour price. While never expected, they are always appreciated if you feel your guide provided an exceptional experience."


      Liability Waiver – Bergen Photo Walk

      By participating in a Bergen Photo Walk organized by Apex Bergen AS, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

      1. Participation at Own Risk
        Participants understand that the photo walk takes place in public outdoor environments, including streets, sidewalks, parks, and waterfront areas. Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
      2. Personal Responsibility
        Participants are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and physical condition during the activity. Participants must follow instructions from the guide and exercise reasonable caution at all times.
      3. Travel and Health Insurance
        Participants are responsible for having their own valid travel and health insurance covering accidents, injuries, or medical expenses during the activity.
      4. Limitation of Liability
        Apex Bergen AS and its guides shall not be held liable for personal injury, loss, damage to personal property, delays, or other incidents that may occur during the photo walk, except where required by applicable law.
      5. Force Majeure
        Apex Bergen AS cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, public restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances affecting the activity.
      6. Photography and Media
        Photos taken during the photo walk may occasionally be used for promotional purposes by Apex Bergen AS unless participants inform the guide that they prefer not to appear in such materials.

      By booking or joining the Bergen Photo Walk, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these terms.
